I will never understand why bad things can’t just happen one at a time but instead just wait to pummel you at the worst possible moment. A few weeks ago the scooter had to go in the shop. They fixed it but $$$. Then our apartment posted that they’re collecting toys for the children’s hospital and for every toy you donate you get a raffle ticket for one of three prizes of free rent. Considering our rent is reallllly expensive and we are both broke and like to help children, Alex and I bought about 40 toys and were so excited to have found some help for money problems. Butttttt….turns out “free rent” doesn’t really mean free. It means a prize of either $100, $200, or $300 off of rent. Now I’m confused because that sounds much more like discounted rent than free rent to me. So back to square one. It looks like not many people will be getting presents from me this year. Next, I didn’t get a scholarship that I was really crossing my fingers for, which would have really helped me pay for spring quarter in Rome. And finally, the real kicker, my computer is broken. I took it to the apple store and they are going to fix it for free (YAY) but it could be up to two weeks before I have it back. In those two weeks I need my computer to: write two papers (due Monday), do a homework assignment for weather class (due Thursday) and study for ALL of my finals. This is just fucking perfect.
I’m not sure what I’ve done wrong lately but lady karma is on my ass.
Sorry for the rant…I’m usually so positive. This is not my day.

Why are you dating Slade? He is a loser. You are also a loser though. Tamera I like you, you’re funny and not very classy but it makes for good television. New girl (Alexis?) I like you.
